LG&E and KU give $500,000 to KSU

Kentucky State University’s scholarship fundraising efforts received a $500,000 boost last week from Louisville Gas and Electric and Kentucky Utilities. The funds will provide scholarships to students studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics — a growing program at KSU. More from the Frankfort State Journal.
